A Girl in Marshall, Texas, 1939

Recommended Posts

A young girl drinks water from a dipper in her family's home near Marshall, Texas, in 1939. Note that the dipper is made from a gourd. There's a chance, I reckon, that she's still alive.

Goodness gracious what a shot! Tremendous in ever way.

Taken by Russell Lee.
