Gary Posted February 11, 2023 Share Posted February 11, 2023 The Vocal Majority is an International Champion mens chorus based in Dallas. Its primary musical genre is barbershop. While it is an amateur group, it is as close to professional as you can get without actually being professional. The Barbershop Harmony Society holds an international singing contest every year and the Vocal Majority has won the contest more often than any other chorus. I was fortunate to be in the group in the early 1980s, before I gave it up for another passion, coaching my sons' soccer teams.
