Traces Posted February 20, 2023 Share Posted February 20, 2023 About 20 miles east of Fort Stockton on I-10 is a picnic stop. Thousands of people whiz past it every day without realizing exactly what it is, which is an old stagecoach stop that was originally built in the late 1870s on Tunis Creek, about 1/2 mile southeast of where it is now.
