Traces Posted June 1 Share Posted June 1 A couple of Waylon Jennings "Live" links. First, an entire concert. Waylon at Austin City Limits on April 1, 1989: Next, I can't even say how great this is. This is the first time Waylon Jennings ever played "Bob Willis is Still the King" in front of a live audience. What I love is how the crowd reacts the first time they hear the chorus. It's like they knew they were hearing a classic! This was recorded when Bob Wills was still alive, though he would live for only about nine months. I wonder if he heard it and what his reaction was.
